A trained lawyer from Madhya Pradesh, Pragya Jaiswal made her acting debut in 2014 with the Tamil film Virattu. She gained widespread recognition with her breakthrough Telugu period drama Kanche (2015) opposite Varun Tej, winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She has since starred in several Telugu films including Akhanda (2021) with Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Her Hindi debut came with the 2024 ensemble comedy Khel Khel Mein alongside Akshay Kumar. Currently, she is busy with major upcoming projects including Daaku Maharaaj (2025) opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, and Tyson Naidu (2026).With her charm and versatility, Pragya continues to shine across languages.
