Actor Pragya Jaiswal recently gave her Instagram followers a peek into her fun-filled vacation in Bali. She shared a vibrant photo of herself enjoying the tropical surroundings, standing confidently in front of lush green plants. In the photo, she’s wearing a stylish black and grey patterned dress, paired with minimal jewelry and natural makeup. Her caption read: “Go wild for a while 🦓”, perfectly capturing the carefree vibe of her getaway.

With the hashtag #WeekendInBali, she hinted that this was a short but refreshing escape.

Pragya Jaiswal began the year on a powerful note, celebrating both her birthday on January 12 and the release of her latest film Daaku Maharaaj on the same day. Despite stiff competition from other big releases like Game Changer and Sankranthiki Vasthunam, her film stood out and became a major hit, earning more than ₹120 crore globally. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Pragya expressed her joy over how the film and her role were received.

She said playing Kaveri, a character who transitions from an engineer to a fierce daaku, was an entirely new experience. “No one expected me to play such a strong character, and now they call me daaku maharaani,” she laughed.

Pragya shared how this role challenged her in unexpected ways.

She admitted being nervous before the release but feels grateful that audiences connected with it. She also added that working again with Nandamuri Balakrishna was also a rewarding experience for her. Though there's a noticeable age difference between them, Pragya believes casting should focus on storytelling, not age. She praised Balakrishna’s energy and respectfulness on set calling him a joy to work with.
