Meanwhile Poonam Pandey has spoken about old rumours connected to her and businessman-filmmaker Raj Kundra. In 2021, there were reports saying she had filed a complaint against him. She has now denied that claim. She said in an interview that she “never lodged any complaint.”

She was asked about her role in the Raj Kundra controversy. She was also asked about reports linking her name to a case in the Bombay High Court. She explained that the incident was “vaguely familiar” but had “no direct connection” to her. She also said, “Raj comes from a good family” and the issue “was unrelated to me.” She felt that things were “unfairly linked.”

The actress made it clear that she was not part of the legal matter involving Raj Kundra. She said she had nothing to do with the complaint that news reports mentioned. She explained that the matter was connected to other people and also pointed out that negative comments and false links hurt her image. She repeated that Raj’s family is respectable and that dragging her into the story was not right.
