The Mumbai-born actress of Punjabi origin began her career after winning Miss Pune. She made her film debut in the Telugu movie Modati Cinema (2005). She gained wider recognition with Boss (2006) opposite Nagarjuna and the hit Parugu (2008).

She entered Tamil cinema with Seval (2008) and later appeared in films like Thenavattu, Kacheri Arambam, and Drohi. Her Malayalam debut came with China Town (2011). Over the years, she has worked across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada industries in more than two dozen films, including Aranmanai 2 and Masterpiece.

In 2022, she returned with roles in Pathonpatham Noottandu, Mei Hoom Moosa, and Gurumoorthi. More recently, she featured in the web series Arabia Kadali (2025).
