Poonam Bajwa, born April 5, 1989, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a versatile Indian actress and former model primarily working in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films. From a Punjabi family, she won Miss Pune in 2005, sparking her entry into entertainment after being spotted during a ramp show in Hyderabad.

Her movie career began with her debut in the Telugu romantic drama Modati Cinema (2005) as Sindhu. She followed with Telugu films like Boss (2006) opposite Nagarjuna, Premante Inthe (2006), and a cameo in Parugu (2008). She debuted in Kannada with Thangigagi (2006) and Tamil with the Hari-directed Seval (2008) opposite Bharath. She expanded to Malayalam with Chinatown (2011) and appeared in hits like Venicile Vyapari (2011) with Mammootty, Aambala (2015), Romeo Juliet (2015), Aranmanai 2 (2016), Pathonpatham Noottandu (2022) as Queen of Travancore, and Mei Hoom Moosa (2022).

The vibrant photo captures Poonam in a black bikini top and shorts, layered with a colorful fringed boho kimono shawl, strolling confidently down a lush tropical pathway lined with dense greenery and palm trees. Sunglasses perched on her nose, long dark hair flowing, and a relaxed pose exude beachy glamour, sensuality, and carefree vacation vibes amid the serene resort-like setting.

As of January 2026, Poonam has no major confirmed upcoming theatrical releases announced beyond recent works like Gurumoorthi (2022) and occasional OTT appearances, though her active social media hints at potential new South Indian projects in development.
