Born in Mumbai, Pooja Hegde made her acting debut in the Tamil superhero film Mugamoodi (2012). She gained prominence in Telugu cinema with Oka Laila Kosam (2014) and delivered major hits like DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, and Maharshi. Her Bollywood debut was Mohenjo Daro (2016) opposite Hrithik Roshan.
