Born on 13 October 1990 in Mumbai, Pooja Hegde is a popular Indian actress working predominantly in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films. She began her career after being crowned second runner-up at Miss Universe India 2010.

She made her acting debut in the Tamil superhero film Mugamoodi (2012). Her Telugu breakthrough came with Oka Laila Kosam (2014) and Mukunda (2014). She gained wider recognition with Mohenjo Daro (2016) opposite Hrithik Roshan, followed by hits like DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham (2017), Aravinda Sametha (2018), Maharshi (2019), Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020), Most Eligible Bachelor (2021), Beast (2022), and Radhe Shyam (2022).

In 2025, she appeared in Deva, Retro, and Coolie. Ongoing projects include Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai (2026) with Varun Dhawan, Jana Nayagan opposite Vijay, Kanchana 4, and the Telugu romantic film Sri Sri with Dulquer Salmaan.
