Meanwhile the actress is going through a deeply emotional time. Her father has been diagnosed with esophageal carcinoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy in Hyderabad. Payal opened up about this on social media by sharing her pain and asking for support. She said, “We are hopeful for his recovery, and every blessing counts as we face this battle against cancer together.”

“My father had just completed 1st session of chemotherapy. Doctors said that we can fight. My father is staying strong and stubborn, but the side effects of the treatment is something to deal with. Even though I am at shooting spots my father’s health has been at the back of my mind... Right now my motive is to make him feel better,” she added.
