Born on 5 December 1992 in Delhi, Payal began her career on Hindi television with shows like Sapnon Se Bhare Naina. She made her film debut in the Punjabi hit Channa Mereya (2017), winning the Filmfare Award Punjabi for Best Debut Actress. Her Hindi entry came with Veerey Ki Wedding (2018).

Her breakthrough arrived with the Telugu film RX 100 (2018), earning her the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu and widespread recognition. She went on to star in Venky Mama (2019), Disco Raja, Mangalavaaram (2023), Rakshana (2024), and the Kannada film Head Bush.

Upcoming projects include the Tamil film Leader (2026), Golmaal, the Telugu Kirathaka, and Punjabi titles such as The Great Punjab Robbery. With a strong presence across Telugu, Punjabi, Hindi, and Tamil cinema, Payal continues to deliver versatile performances.
