Palak Tiwari, who starred with Mouni in the show The Bhootnii, said celebrities are often targeted just for being in the public eye. She stated, "There’s one thing that gets more attention than celebrities—it’s dragging them down." She added that the hate is constant and cruel.
Palak highlighted the double standards women face. She said, "People obsess over our looks. If we don’t meet their expectations, we get shamed. If we change something to feel better, we get shamed again." She feels this creates a lose-lose situation for many female stars.
She also said that trolling affects mental health, and many forget the emotional pain celebrities go through. "They find faults in everything whether it’s your nose, your hair, or your body shape," she said, pointing out how unfair such judgment is.
