Born Madhuurima Banerjee on May 14, 1987, in Mumbai, Nyra (also credited as Nyrraa M Banerji) is a versatile Indian actress and model working across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema and television. She made her Telugu film debut with Aa Okkadu (2009) and entered Bollywood with Priyadarshan’s comedy Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal (2012). She gained wider recognition with One Night Stand (2016) and notable roles in films like Tiger (2017), Barun Rai and the House on the Cliff (2021), and others including Temper and Aambala.

On television, she shone as the lead in supernatural hits Divya Drishti and Pishachini. Nyra has also participated in reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Bigg Boss 18. Her upcoming project is the pan-India comedy-action film One Two Cha Cha Chaa (releasing January 16, 2026), co-starring Ashutosh Rana.
