Nushrratt Bharuccha shares a powerful look

Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha recently took to Instagram to share a striking new photo captioned: “Construction Couture: Built different, brick by brick! 🧱💣”

She wore a deep red dress from @cultmia, accessorized with jewellery from @irasvafinejewellery. The styling was done by @sukritigrover, sourced by @rhiakapoor, and captured through the lens of @dinesh-_ahuja. The image, lit with dramatic spark effects, shows Nushrratt in a confident pose, reflecting both grace and strength. The styling team, including senior stylist @vanigupta.23, @jaiswal.aditi-_, and intern @jiaa.josh helped bring the look together.

While the photo created buzz online, it also came on the heels of Nushrratt opening up about the online criticism she often faces especially for expressing her spiritual beliefs. In a recent interview, she shared, “For me, my faith is real. Unreal things happen, and that’s what strengthens my belief. That’s why I’m still connected, still strong, and I know I have to follow this path.” She added that she finds peace in all places of worship whether it’s a mandir, a gurudwara, or a church and even prays namaz five times a day when possible.

Nushrratt further addressed how people judge her based on her appearance or religious expressions. “Whether it’s about my clothes or where I go, I’ve faced comments. When I post my picture, people ask, ‘What kind of Muslim is she? Look at her clothes’. How do I handle it? Just like any other criticism. It doesn’t change me. It won’t stop me from going to a temple or praying namaz. I’ll keep doing both. Because that’s my faith.”
