Bharuccha began her acting journey with a small role in the 2002 TV series "Kittie Party." She then ventured into Hindi cinema with "Jai Santoshi Maa" in 2006 and later appeared in a music video titled "Zindagi Kahin Gum Hai" by Zubeen Garg in 2007. Her TV stint culminated with the role of Drishika Kashyap in "Seven."

Her big break in Hindi films came with Dibakar Banerjee and Ekta Kapoor's "Love Sex Aur Dhokha" in 2010, which garnered moderate success. She recently appeared in the historical drama "Ram Setu" alongside Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez, released on Diwali 2022. Upcoming projects include "Chhorii 2," a sequel, and the comedy "Selfiee" with Akshay Kumar, Diana Penty, and Emraan Hashmi, set to release in 2023.

In 2023, she made a cameo appearance in the film "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar," starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.
