Nivetha Pethuraj is rapidly emerging as one of South Indian cinema�s most talented and versatile actresses. Balancing grace, intellect, and a strong screen presence, she has made a significant mark in both Tamil and Telugu film industries. Beyond her glamorous roles lies a story of determination, perseverance, and a genuine passion for her craft.

Born on 30 November 1990 (or 1991) in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, Nivetha spent her early years in Kovilpatti before moving to Dubai with her family at age 11. She completed her schooling at Crescent English High School and later graduated with a degree in Human Resource Management from Heriot-Watt University in Dubai. Her experiences living independently across countries during her formative years helped shape her confidence and resilience.

Nivetha�s journey to fame began when she won the Miss India UAE title in 2015 and went on to secure a spot among the Top 5 finalists at Miss India Worldwide the same year. This early success opened the doors to acting, and she made her Tamil film debut in 2016 with Oru Naal Koothu. Her natural performance garnered critical acclaim, earning her the Behindwoods Gold Medal for Best Debut Actress.

Expanding her horizons beyond films, Nivetha ventured into digital media with her Hindi web series debut Kaala (2023) on Disney+ Hotstar. In 2024, she impressed audiences with her role in the Telugu thriller series Paruvu on ZEE5, delivering a compelling portrayal of Pallavi/Dolly that highlighted her emotional range and depth.
