Nikita Sharma, born in New Delhi, began her career as a model and made her acting debut in 2013 with the TV show V The Serial as Taani. She gained recognition for roles like Antara Kaul in Do Dil Ek Jaan, Kavita in Swaragini, Goddess Lakshmi in Mahakali — Anth Hi Aarambh Hai, and the dual roles of Nandini/Shivani in Phir Laut Aayi Naagin.

Recent work includes Shaitani Rasmein (2024–2025). In 2026, she appears in projects such as Undercover Boss Lady and Meri Sanki Dulhaniya, continuing her strong presence in Hindi television.
