Born in New Delhi, Nikita Sharma began as a model before making her acting debut in 2013 as Taani in V The Serial. She gained recognition with her lead role as Antara Kaul in Do Dil Ek Jaan the same year. She went on to play Kavita Roy in Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, Goddess Lakshmi in Mahakali — Anth Hi Aarambh Hai, and dual roles as Nandini/Shivani in Phir Laut Aayi Naagin.

More recent television work includes Shaitani Rasmein (2024) as Saudamini. Transitioning to films, she appeared in 31st Movie (2024) and starred as Mallika in the horror-comedy Oye Bhootni Ke (2025), along with the Gujarati film Chaniya Toli (2025). She continues balancing television and cinema projects.
