Born on April 18 in Luxembourg and granddaughter of legendary composer O.P. Nayyar, Niharica began her journey as Miss India UK 2010 runner-up at Miss India Worldwide. She made her film debut in the 2013 Bengali movie Damadol with a memorable dance number. Her Hindi debut came with the 2014 found-footage horror 6-5=2. She has since appeared in notable films like Masaan, Waarrior Savitri (her first lead role), Total Dhamaal, Sooryavanshi (as Inspector Tara), and IB71.

Currently, she has exciting ongoing and upcoming projects including the thriller Mercy (2026), Malayalam film Aadrika, Marathi project Janma Runna, and more. As a multilingual actress, scientist, and producer, she continues to bring depth and versatility to Indian cinema.
