The original Mookuthi Amman featured a talented cast that included RJ Balaji, Nayanthara, Moulee, Urvashi, and Smruthi Venkat. While there has been no official word on whether the same cast will return for the sequel, Nayanthara's involvement is the only confirmed detail so far.

Nayanthara's most recent film was Annapoorani, released in 2023, which faced controversy due to allegations of hurt religious sentiments. Currently, she is working on two new films titled Mannangatti Since 1960 and Test, which are highly anticipated by her fans.
