Nayanthara's husband and filmmaker, Vignesh Shivan, celebrated his birthday on September 18. To mark this occasion, Nayanthara took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt message for him, along with sharing some heartwarming photos from their dinner date. Just a day later, she posted another set of pictures, showing their close bond.

In the photos, the couple is seen casually dressed in matching white T-shirts with "Carbon" printed on them. Nayanthara keeps it chic with a ponytail and sunglasses, while Vignesh opts for a laid-back look with his curly hair and beard. The stills capture the couple in a candid moment, walking side by side and enjoying each other's company.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are one of the most admired couples in the Indian film industry. They frequently express their love for one another on social media. Their relationship started in 2015 on the sets of the movie *Naanum Rowdy Dhaan*, where they first met. By 2017, the couple made their first public appearance together at an awards show in Singapore, where Vignesh publicly thanked Nayanthara after receiving the Best Director award.

The couple got engaged in 2021 in a private ceremony and later tied the knot in a grand wedding in Chennai in 2022. The star-studded event saw the presence of many high-profile guests like Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, and filmmaker Atlee. Shortly after their marriage, Nayanthara and Vignesh announced the birth of their twin sons, Uyir and Ulagam, through surrogacy in October 2022.
