Mrunal Thakur, born on August 1, 1992, in Dhule, Maharashtra, began her career in television with shows like Kumkum Bhagya. She made her film debut with the Marathi movie Vitti Dandu (2014). Her Bollywood breakthrough came with Love Sonia (2018), followed by notable performances in Super 30 (2019) and Batla House (2019). She achieved massive pan-India success with Telugu romantic dramas Sita Ramam (2022) and Hi Nanna (2023).

Her recent and ongoing projects include Son of Sardaar 2, Dacoit: A Love Story, Do Deewane Seher Mein, and the much-awaited romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai opposite Varun Dhawan, releasing in June 2026.
