According to sources, Dacoit tells the story of two former lovers brought back together to carry out a series of robberies. Mrunal’s role, while still a mystery, is expected to show a mix of vulnerability and intensity. The film is described as a powerful mix of love, revenge, and betrayal. The story follows a convict plotting revenge against his ex, and Mrunal's character seems to play a key part in that drama. The film is being directed by Shaneil Deo, who is making his debut, and is co-written with Adivi Sesh. Scheduled for release on December 25, Dacoit promises to bring an edge to the screen this Christmas.
