Mouni has been in the industry for years starting her career with the TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She later gained widespread fame with Naagin, a popular television series. Her transition to Bollywood came with Gold where she starred alongside Akshay Kumar. She has also appeared in films like Made in China and Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva.

Currently, Mouni is preparing for her upcoming horror-comedy film, The Bhootnii. The movie, featuring Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, and Palak Tiwari, is set to release on April 18, 2025.
