Meenakshi is not just known for her beauty but also for her talent. After a small role in the film Upstarts (2019), she gained attention through the web series Out of Love, an official remake of the BBC drama Doctor Foster. She played a young woman dealing with emotional challenges after getting into a relationship with a married man.

In 2020, she made her Telugu debut opposite Sushanth in Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu. Before acting full-time, Meenakshi balanced her dental studies and modeling career. She also trained in acting through workshops, which helped her land more roles.

Later, she was seen in Khiladi and the hit thriller HIT: The Second Case. In 2023, she stepped into Tamil cinema with Kolai, a psychological thriller.

2024 has been a busy year for her with lead roles in Guntur Kaaram, Singapore Saloon, The Greatest of All Time, Sankranti Ki Vastunnam, Lucky Baskhar, Matka and Mechanic Rocky. She will next be seen in the 2025 comedy film Anaganaga Oka Raju alongside Naveen Polishetty.
