Born on 5 March 1997 in Panchkula, Haryana, Meenakshi first gained fame as Femina Miss India Grand International 2018 (1st runner-up) and Miss Grand International 2018 (1st runner-up). She made her acting debut with a brief role in the Hindi film Upstarts (2019) and the web series Out of Love, before her lead Telugu debut in Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu (2021).

She rose quickly with hits like HIT: The Second Case (2022), Khiladi, and her Tamil debut Kolai (2023). In 2024 she featured in major films including Guntur Kaaram (with Mahesh Babu), The Greatest of All Time (with Vijay), and the critically acclaimed Lucky Baskhar (opposite Dulquer Salmaan), which earned her a SIIMA Critics Award. Recent releases include Sankranthiki Vasthunam (2025) and Anaganaga Oka Raju (2026).
