Manushi Chhillar recently shared a photo on Instagram, looking elegant in a soft white saree with subtle blue and gold detailing. The caption read:"Promoting without my sarees is #Naamumkin 🦋💙🤍🥝💚💚💙 2 days to go!! Cannot wait for you all to see the magic of #Maalik In theatres on the 11th of July 👑👑👑"

Manushi mentioned the name Maalik in her caption and expressed her excitement about the film’s release. The post reflects her love for traditional attire and how she considers sarees essential to her promotional looks.

She may be only three years into the film industry, but Manushi Chhillar has already carved her path. The former Miss World was once preparing to become a doctor, following in the footsteps of her academically inclined family. But destiny had something else in store. Her journey to the global stage began with beauty pageants and eventually led her to cinema. Speaking about the shift, Manushi shared, “It’s been about learning a lot of new things. I come from a world far removed from the limelight.”

After winning the Miss World crown, she took a year off to work with the Miss World Organisation. That phase helped her connect with people and explore different cultures. It also opened doors to the film world. Manushi added, “Publicly, it looks like a short stint, but preparing for Miss World was a long and intense process for me.” When she finally stepped into acting, she had to start from scratch. “My debut came three years ago, and it was a complete change. I had to learn new skills, adjust to a new environment, and become part of a world that was entirely different from the one I was raised in.”
