Manasa Varanasi Enjoys Nature’s Calm in Petal Breeze

Manasa Varanasi shared a peaceful photo on Instagram with the caption: “Petal breeze 🌸”. In the picture, clicked by @pranav.foto, she sits quietly with a book in her hand. She wears a soft pink dress with ruffles. Green trees surround her, and the whole scene feels like a gentle dream.

Manasa is now getting ready for her first film Devaki Nandana Vasudeva. She didn’t plan to become an actress. After winning Miss India 2020, she stayed in Mumbai for Miss World preparation. When she returned to Hyderabad, she wondered should she go back to her job or try something new? Slowly, acting pulled her in. She gave auditions and started learning about cinema. That’s when she got the role of Satyabhama, a fun and brave character. “She’s playful and faces tough times with courage. I connect with her,” Manasa says.

Before shooting, Manasa did a short theatre course in Pondicherry. Even though she learned Bharatanatyam for 8 years, she found the movie dance challenging. “The song Bangaram was full of energy. I had to forget my usual grace and go full-on mass,” she laughs. With just one week of dance practice, she gave it her all.

She also worked on another film, Couple Friendly, made by UV Creations. It was shot in Chennai. “I had to learn a lot of Tamil. I love the language and hope to act in Tamil films too,” she smiles.
