Malavika Mohanan recently shared a captivating story from her time in Thekkady, Kerala, where she spent several weeks filming for the Malayalam movie Hridayapoorvam. The serene and beautiful surroundings of Thekkady gave her the chance to truly connect with nature, offering a refreshing break from the hectic pace of city life. Each morning, she was greeted by the peaceful melodies of birds and the sweet scent of blooming flowers, while peacocks roamed freely and even playful turkeys made their presence known.

Living so close to the heart of nature, Malavika found herself enveloped in the soothing sounds and sights around her. The quiet of the night, the occasional rumble of elephants in the distance, and the purity of the fresh, mineral-packed water made her feel a world away from the artificiality of urban living.
