Born on 4 August 1993, Malavika Mohanan is the daughter of acclaimed cinematographer K. U. Mohanan. She made her acting debut in the Malayalam film Pattam Pole (2013) opposite Dulquer Salmaan. She gained critical praise for her role in Majid Majidi’s Hindi film Beyond the Clouds (2017).

She went on to feature in The Great Father (2017), Petta (2019 with Rajinikanth), the blockbuster Master (2021 with Vijay), Maaran (2022), Christy (2023), Thangalaan (2024 with Vikram), and the Hindi thriller Yudhra (2024). In 2025 she starred opposite Mohanlal in the successful Hridayapoorvam.

Her ongoing projects include her Telugu debut The RajaSaab (2026 opposite Prabhas), Sardar 2 (with Karthi), and Pocket Novel. A versatile pan-Indian actress, Malavika continues to shine across Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu cinema.
