Malavika Mohanan shared a new photo on Instagram catching the attention of fans and fashion enthusiasts alike. She appears in a sleek beige corset top paired with a black bottom. Her hair is styled in loose waves tucked behind one ear. The photo was part of a series, and Malavika captioned it with heartfelt gratitude:“Thank you for the love @iwmbuzz ✨💫

And a big shoutout (and bear hug) to my team who made glamming up feel so effortless, fun & peppered with the best puns 🐼✨”

Recently, Yudhra actress Malavika Mohanan spoke about a personal and serious topic women’s safety in Mumbai. She shared her thoughts in an interview with Hauterrfly. “People often say Mumbai is safe for women, but I’d like to correct that perception,” she said. Malavika explained that her view has changed over time. “Today, I have my own car and driver, so if someone asks me whether Mumbai is safe, I might be inclined to say yes. But my perspective was very different when I was in college.”

She also recalled a troubling memory from those college days. “I was on a local train with two of my closest friends… around 9.30 pm… in the first-class women’s compartment… The train was quite empty. We were sitting near one of the window grills, chatting, when a man walked up to the window, stuck his face right up against the bars and said, ‘Ek chumma degi kya?’” Malavika and her friends were frozen in fear. Her story brings focus to how safety in public spaces still needs a lot of work and how people’s experiences often depend on their access to resources.
