Malaika Arora began her career as an MTV VJ before making her film debut in 1998 with Mani Ratnam’s Dil Se.., where her electrifying performance in the song “Chaiyya Chaiyya” became iconic. She went on to become the queen of item numbers with unforgettable tracks in films like Kaante, Welcome, and the blockbuster Dabangg (“Munni Badnaam Hui”). She also appeared in Housefull, Happy New Year, and made special appearances in later projects including Pataakha (2018) and An Action Hero (2022).

In 2025, she featured in a special song appearance in Thamma. Beyond films, Malaika remains active as a television judge (India’s Got Talent), fitness entrepreneur, and style influencer.
