Krithi Shetty, born on 21 September 2003 in Mangalore to a Tulu-speaking family and raised in Mumbai, made her on-screen debut with a small role in the Hindi film Super 30 (2019). She burst onto the Telugu cinema scene with her lead debut in the blockbuster Uppena (2021) opposite Panja Vaishnav Tej, winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South.

Her notable films include Shyam Singha Roy (2021) with Nani, Bangarraju (2022), Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali (2022), Macherla Niyojakavargam (2022), The Warriorr (2022), Custody (2023), Manamey (2024), and the Malayalam film A.R.M (2024).

She is gearing up for a busy 2026 with her Tamil projects: Vaa Vaathiyaar with Karthi, the sci-fi rom-com Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) directed by Vignesh Shivan opposite Pradeep Ranganathan, and the fantasy Genie with Jayam Ravi. She has also started filming her Bollywood debut in an action thriller opposite Tiger Shroff and is part of an upcoming Telugu multistarrer with Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram.
