Born on April 11, 2000, Kayadu Lohar made her acting debut with the Kannada film Mugilpete (2021). She gained wider attention with Malayalam historical drama Pathonpatham Noottandu (2022) and Telugu film Alluri (2022). Her breakthrough came with the Tamil comedy-drama Dragon (2025), where she played Pallavi opposite Pradeep Ranganathan.
She has since explored diverse roles across South Indian cinema. In Pallichattambi (2026), a socio-political period drama directed by Dijo Jose Antony, she plays Rebecca — a rooted, intellectual, and sensitive character described as the emotional soul of the story, alongside Tovino Thomas.
Her ongoing and upcoming projects include The Paradise (Telugu, opposite Nani, as Subbu), Funky (Telugu, opposite Vishwak Sen), Idhayam Murali (Tamil, opposite Atharvaa), Immortal, Thaaram (Malayalam, with Nivin Pauly), I'm Game (Malayalam, with Dulquer Salmaan), and a high-profile Tamil project opposite Silambarasan TR.
With her pan-Indian appeal and versatile performances, Kayadu is rapidly emerging as one of the most promising young actresses in South cinema.
