Born on 20 August 1995 in Mumbai, Kavya began her career as a model before stepping into films. She made her acting debut with the Telugu romantic drama Ee Maaya Peremito (2018) as Sheetal Jain. Her Tamil debut followed with Market Raja MBBS (2019), and she entered Hindi cinema with Middle Class Love (2022).
She earned wider recognition with Ek Mini Katha (2021), Pichaikkaran 2 (2023), and the action thriller Eagle (2024) opposite Ravi Teja, which became her highest-grossing film. Other 2024 releases include Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, Double iSmart, and Viswam. She has also appeared in the web series Farzi (2023).Her ongoing project is the Telugu film Nenu Ready (2026).
