Kavya Kalyanram is a known name in Telugu cinema, having started her journey as a child actor in the film Snehamante Idera (2001). Over the years, she appeared in several successful films like Gangotri, Tagore, Adavi Ramudu, and Bunny. After taking a break from acting, she returned as a lead actress with the 2022 film Masooda, a horror drama that was both a commercial and critical success. Her performance in the film helped her connect with a new generation of moviegoers.

Following Masooda, Kavya took on a central role in the 2023 emotional drama Balagam, directed by Venu Yeldandi. In this heartfelt story, she acted alongside Priyadarshi and Sudhakar Reddy. The movie explored themes of family, relationships, and village life, and her role received warm appreciation from audiences.
