Born on July 20, 1998, in Hyderabad, Telangana, Kavya began her journey as a child artist in early 2000s Telugu films such as Snehamante Idera, Gangotri, Tagore, Balu ABCDEFG, and Bunny. After a break to pursue education (including a law degree), she made her comeback as a lead actress with the 2022 horror thriller Masooda, where she delivered a strong performance as Mini.

She gained widespread acclaim for her role as Sandhya in the 2023 hit family drama Balagam, directed by Venu Yeldandi, which became a critically and commercially successful village-centric film. The same year, she appeared in Ustaad alongside Gautham Vasudev Menon and others.

As of 2026, her upcoming project is the comedy What's Up Naresh, in which she plays Sarika. Kavya continues to impress with her natural acting style and screen presence, steadily building a promising career in Tollywood.
