Katrina Kaif Turns 42: These New Pics Are Pure Magic

Katrina Kaif’s latest photos are just awesome As the actress celebrates her birthday today, let’s take a moment to look back at her journey, achievements and her incredible transformation from a young model to one of India’s biggest film stars.

Born on July 16 in Hong Kong, Katrina lived in several countries before finally settling in London. Her father Mohammad Kaif is of Kashmiri origin, while her mother Suzanne Turcotte is British. After her parents separated, Katrina and her siblings were raised by their mother who is a lawyer and a social worker. Katrina often credits her mother for shaping her life.

She comes from a large family with seven siblings three older sisters, three younger sisters and one elder brother. Each of them is doing well in different fields. Her youngest sister Sonia is a fashion photographer, and Isabelle Kaif is trying to build her own acting career in Bollywood.

Katrina started modelling at just 14 years old. Her first film, Boom (2003), opened the doors to acting. She gained recognition with Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya (2005) opposite Salman Khan. From there, she appeared in many successful films like Namastey London, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Ek Tha Tiger, Bang Bang and Dhoom 3.

Her most successful film till date is Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), which earned a massive ₹558 crore globally. Some of her other top-grossing films include Dhoom 3, Tiger 3, Bharat, Sooryavanshi,

and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

Apart from acting, Katrina is also a successful entrepreneur with her own beauty brand. From a non filmy background to becoming a household name in India, Katrina Kaif’s journey is truly inspiring.
