Karishma began her career on television, making her debut in 2001 with the iconic soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She gained fame through shows like Naagin 3 and Qayamat Ki Raat. Her movie journey started with a supporting role in the 2005 Bollywood film Dosti: Friends Forever. She took on her first lead in the 2011 Kannada movie I Am Sorry Mathe Banni Preethsona, followed by the hit comedy Grand Masti (2013). Notable films include Sanju (2018) and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari (2020). She also earned praise for her OTT performance in Scoop.
