Born on 19 June 1985 in Mumbai, Kajal made her acting debut with a minor role in the Hindi film Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... (2004). Her Telugu breakthrough came with Chandamama (2007) and the blockbuster Magadheera (2009). She went on to star in hits like Darling, Mr. Perfect, Businessman, Thuppakki, Singham, and Mersal.

Recent films include Bhagavanth Kesari, Satyabhama (2024), Sikandar, and Kannappa (2025). Upcoming projects feature The India Story, Indian 3, and the role of Mandodari in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana (2026). Married to Gautam Kitchlu, Kajal continues to shine across Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema.
