This striking photo shows Jyoti Rai (also known as Jyothi Rai or Jyothi Poorvaj) smiling confidently in a short, flared red halter-neck dress while standing in a hallway. Her wavy dark hair, radiant expression, and visible butterfly-and-flower chest tattoo highlight the bold, glamorous style she frequently shares on social media.

Born in Madikeri, Karnataka, Jyoti began her career in Kannada television with serials such as Jogula (as Devaki), Kinnari, and Mooru Gantu. She gained wider popularity in the Telugu serial Guppedantha Manasu as Jagathi, becoming a household name among South Indian TV audiences.

Her film debut came with the Tulu drama Madipu (2017). She has since appeared in Kannada and Tulu films including Dia (2020), Jersey Number 10 (2023), Supplier Shankara (2024), 5D (2024), and Nice Road (2024).

Ongoing and upcoming projects mark her shift toward lead roles. These include the multilingual sci-fi action thriller Killer (also known as KillR or Killer: Dream Girl), directed by and co-starring her husband Suku Poorvaaj, as well as A Masterpiece and Halka Don. From television staple to cinematic lead, Jyoti continues to expand her range with confident screen presence and versatile performances.
