Jyoti Poorvaj Stuns in Killer Promo Ahead of October 17 Release

Jyoti Poorvaj’s latest promotional photo for the sci-fi thriller Killer (also styled #KilleR) is turning heads. Posed confidently against a wall of newspaper clippings, the actress wears sunglasses, a newspaper-print crop top and denim shorts, exuding power and glamour while the tagline announces a worldwide release on 17th October. Hashtags #killeR and #superSHE highlight her multi-layered role as India’s first Super She, alongside Spy, Vampire, Terrorist and Raksha Rai characters in an AI-driven story.

Born Jayashree Rai in Madikeri, Karnataka, Jyoti built her career in television. She debuted in Kannada soaps such as Jogula and Kinnari before becoming a household name in Telugu as Jagati in the popular serial Guppedantha Manasu. She later appeared in films including the Tulu drama Madipu (2017), Kannada titles like Dia and Jersey Number 10, and other regional projects.

Now married to director Poorvaaj (Suku Poorvaj), she is in an exciting big-screen phase. Alongside Killer, she is linked to the multilingual superhero film A Masterpiece. The 17 October worldwide release of Killer marks a major step in her transition from serials to leading film roles.
