Jyoti rose to prominence through Kannada television serials such as Jogula (as Devaki) and Kinnari, before becoming a household name in Telugu audiences with her powerful portrayal of Jagati in the long-running hit Guppedantha Manasu.
Her film debut came in 2017 with the Tulu drama Madipu, directed by Chethan Mundadi. She followed with roles in Kannada films including Dia (2020, as Rohith’s sister), Supplier Shankara, Jersey Number 10 (2023), and others like 99 and Gandhada Gudi, showcasing her range in supporting and character-driven parts across regional cinema.
Currently in an exciting phase, Jyoti is headlining the sci-fi action thriller Killer (also known as KillR or Killer: Dream Girl), directed by her husband Suku Poorvaj, where she takes on multiple layered roles including a “Super She” character in an AI-infused narrative. She is also part of the multilingual superhero project A Masterpiece and other ventures like Halka Don. With these bold projects, the actress is successfully transitioning from television success to bigger-screen challenges.
