Jyothi Poorvaj Stuns in Floral Black-and-Beige Saree

Jyothi Poorvaj, also known as Jyothi Rai, born on July 4, 1985, in Madikeri, Karnataka, is a multilingual Indian actress excelling in Kannada, Telugu, Tulu, and other South Indian industries. She rose to fame through popular television serials like Jogula, Kinnari, Mooru Gantu, and the Telugu hit Guppedantha Manasu (as Jagathi).

Her movie debut was in the Tulu drama Madipu (2017), followed by roles in Kannada films such as Gandhada Gudi, Sitarama Kalyana, 99, and Dia (2020). Transitioning boldly to lead roles, she starred in the superhero thriller A Masterpiece: Rise of a Superhero (2024-2025) and the sci-fi actioner Killer (2025, also titled Killer: Dream Girl), both directed by her husband Suku Poorvaj, showcasing her in dynamic, multi-shaded characters.
