Jiya Shankar Instagram Picnic Post Goes Viral

Actress Jiya Shankar recently shared a beautiful moment from her life on Instagram. In the photo, she is seen enjoying a picnic while wearing a simple white dress. Her caption read, “Back to island girl life. May be.”

Jiya who became popular with Marathi blockbuster Ved and Hindi shows like Kaatelal vs Kaatelal, Pishachini and Meri Hanikarak Biwi, has been facing online negativity in recent days. Trolls and meme pages have been linking her with YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT contestant Abhishek Malhan (aka Fukra Insaan), despite her repeated clarifications that they were only friends and nothing more.

Fed up with the false stories and personal attacks, Jiya took to social media to strongly shut down the trolls last year. She wrote that she has nothing to do with Abhishek Malhan anymore, calling herself “self-made, loud and proud.” She also asked people to stop dragging her and her family into these cheap stunts.
