Her notable Marathi film entry came with Ved (2022) opposite Riteish Deshmukh.

She gained massive popularity on Hindi television with her role as Dr. Ira Pandey in the comedy-drama Meri Hanikarak Biwi and as Susheela in Kaatelal & Sons. Jiya has also participated in reality shows including Bigg Boss OTT Season 2.

In 2026, she marks a significant milestone with her Tamil lead debut in the psychological romantic musical comedy Kadhal Reset Repeat (released 6 March 2026), directed by A.L. Vijay, where she plays Aditi alongside Madumkesh and Arjun Ashokan. She is also actively hosting reality shows and expanding her digital presence.
