By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Sept 2025 1:50 PM ISTIn a breathtaking display of Indian craftsmanship and cultural pride, Janhvi Kapoor made a powerful fashion statement at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) for the premiere of her film Homebound. Styled by the ever-talented Rhea Kapoor, Janhvi wore a stunning resham sari by iconic designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
The ensemble beautifully reimagined traditional Kashmiri motifs using upcycled textiles and hand-finished detailing. Janhvi’s look was elevated with a rich, antique jamavar shawl, intricately draped and adorned with handmade silk resham tassels, showcasing the grandeur of vintage Indian artistry.
Adding further depth to her cultural tribute, she accessorized with silver earrings inspired by the Kashmiri dejhur , a symbol of tradition and identity for Kashmiri women. The overall look was both regal and rooted, a graceful blend of heritage and modern elegance.
