Actress Jacqueline Fernandez recently turned heads at an awards ceremony with a striking all black outfit. However, behind the glamour Jacqueline is dealing with personal grief. Last month, she lost her mother, Kim Fernandez, who passed away after a stroke. In a heartfelt interview, Jacqueline expressed her deep sorrow and said she’s still coming to terms with the loss. “I was lucky to have spent her final months with her,” she said. “Even now, I keep thinking about what more I could have done.”

Jacqueline shared how her mother had always supported her dreams. Coming from a modest background, she once felt nervous about revealing her desire to become an actress. But when she finally told her parents at 18, they fully supported her. Her mother, in particular, was her strongest pillar and biggest cheerleader.

She also mentioned how parents of celebrities become part of the public world as well. “They go through everything with us. It takes strength for them to keep supporting us through the ups and downs,” she said, adding that her mother was one of those strong and supportive parents.

Fondly, Jacqueline recalled her mother calling her a “butterfly,” always flying toward her dreams. That nickname reflected how proud her mother was of her achievements.
