Iswarya Menon began her acting career with the Tamil comedy film Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru. She made her Kannada debut with Dasavala, directed by M. S. Ramesh, where she played Akshara opposite actor Prem. Her role as a mentally challenged girl was well appreciated by audiences and critics. Later she appeared in Apple Penne, a Tamil film that explored the emotional bond between a mother and daughter with actress Roja playing her mother.
Up next, Iswarya will be seen in the Kannada horror comedy Namo Boothatma. She is also part of the Malayalam movie Bangalore High, directed by V. K. Prakash. The film stars Shine Tom Chacko, Siju Wilson, Shanvi Srivastava, and Anoop Menon, and carries a strong social message about saying no to drugs.
