The actress has also been in the news for other reasons in the past including her appearance in a viral dance video with filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma.

While the video stirred some controversy, Inaya shared how it affected her personally and how her family was disturbed by the incident. She once in an interview said that her family was deeply disturbed by the entire incident. She added she was looking for more opportunities in the film industry and had no support from anyone when she met Ram Gopal Varma who approached her for an opportunity and invited her to his birthday party.
