Although Huma Qureshi was supposed to make her debut in the Tamil gangster-thriller film Billa II, directed and produced by Chakri Toleti, she had to leave the project due to delays and prior commitments. Reflecting on this, she expressed no regrets, stating that while she wished it had worked out, she's not one to dwell on missed opportunities. Despite this setback, she went on to make her feature film debut in Anurag Kashyap's acclaimed crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1 in 2012.
