She made her movie debut at age 14 in the 2005 Malayalam film Boyy Friennd (directed by Vinayan), playing a supporting role. After early ventures in Telugu (Ee Varsham Sakshiga, 2006) and Tamil (Mudhal Kanave, 2007), she took a break before a strong comeback with her breakthrough in the 2012 Malayalam film Trivandrum Lodge as Dhwani Nambiar, earning critical acclaim for her bold performance.
